🚀 The Book in 3 Sentences

Only 5% will achieve dreams and life they really want to live ( which is approximately Pareto * Pareto ). To level up, start your day with Morning Ritual. Use whatever works, but experiment with S.A.V.E.R.S.:

🍀 How did it change me?

The first thing that I changed immediately was one of the 5 snooze-proof tactics: Prepare glass of water next to alarm clock. Drink it as you turn off alarm. Each evening I prepare a glass of water. It helps me awake. After whole night we’re dehydrated. That’s also the first element of my morning routine.

The next thing I’ve changed was my morning ritual order. At first I was waking up & going to office as fast as I could. Getting into office triggered my morning ritual: meditation & reading. It was working great, but there was one caveat. On free days I usually skipped morning ritual. There was no trigger.

After reading Miracle Morning, I wake up and drink glass of water. Next I move to living room and start meditation. After that I move to journaling. Or rather I would say affirmation + writing down daily goals + journaling. At the end I read at least 25 minutes. Now waking up is my trigger for morning ritual.

✍️ My 3 top quotes

Where you are is a result of who you were, but where you go depends entirely on who you choose to be, from this moment on.

It reminds me Can’t Hurt Me - David Goggins. Start where you are, use what you have, do what you can -> Arthur Ashe

You’ve got to get up every morning with determination if you’re going to go to bed with satisfaction.

Be grateful for all that you have , accept all that you don’t, and actively create all that you want.

Powerful insight

Isolation incidents - you treat each and every thing as a single time incident. Anytime you miss a workout, eat something unhealthy, don’t wake up early. You think it happened only once. “Next time” it won’t happen. You treat each bad thing as a INCIDENT.

The reality is that it will happen again and again. Thus it’s so important to keep discipline. Don’t miss workouts. Keep yourself accountable EACH & EVERY DAY.

Great story by Jacko Willink: He was asked about workout routine, which days he works out. I workout each and every day. Just sometimes LIFE comes into play ( travel, family issues, kids need me ). That’s when I take day off.

Matt D’Avella has a rule: never skip 2 times in a row.
